A new flavor of the Google Play Store application is now available for download for Android users, namely version 4.1.10, meant to resolve some of the issues that the previous flavor of the software was found to include.

To be more precise, the new Google Play Store flavor fixes a glitch that caused the battery to drain abnormally fast. However, it seems that only some devices were actually affected by this problem.

The aforementioned issue was spotted in version 4.1.6 of the application, but the new release should have already been pushed to most Android devices out there, it seems.

Users who would like to grab the new software flavor before it arrives from Google themselves can already find the needed package online, Phandroid notes. Unfortunately, no other enhancements appear to have been included inside the update.
