Only with a series of minor bug fixes packed inside, it seems

A new flavor of the Google Play Store is now available for download on Android devices, namely version 4.0.26, the first update for the application following the major redesign that Google has made available for users a few weeks ago.

Given that the build number has increased only from 4.0.25 to 4.0.26, no major change has been included in the update, it seems.

However, Android Police reports that there are minor bug fixes included in the app, along with a modified file called AutoUpdateMigrationHelper.

Apparently, Google also started to deliver featured/promotional and recommended content to users through the Play store, something that was not available after the previous release arrived (but the release of the 4.0.26 flavor might be only a coincidence).

The Google Play Store 4.0.26 APK is said to weigh 5.89 MB. Android Police claims that it is safe to install, and also provides download links to it.
