The previous version of Google Play Store app is about to get refreshed with the latest 3.9.16 iteration, which has just leaked online.

Courtesy of AndroidPolice, we know quite a lot of things about the new Google Play Store application. First of all, it appears that you’ll be able to track your location in lists, such as All Apps and My Apps, which means that you will be taken into the same spot after you click into an application and back.

Secondly, the new application allows users to select multiple apps by tapping and holding an app in the list and then clicking on more apps. You can use this process if you want to delete more than one application.

The notification message has been refreshed and can now be expanded, while the notification icon now shows the app icon instead of the generic one.

These are some of the new tweaks and features introduced by Google Play store 3.9.16 application, but it’s likely that there are more, which have yet to be discovered.

AndroidPolice also reports that Google is actively working on a built-in malware scanner for the Play Store. Basically, this new feature will scan every application that a user already downloaded and provides a warning in case anything looks suspicious.

Aside from that, there are more details on the Wish List feature, which leaked in the previous version of Google Play Store but has yet to be finished.

Well, it looks like the APK contains multiple styles of buttons that will allow users to “star” some of their favorite applications. Last but not least, the application will get something called Google Play Balance, which was previously rumored as Wallet Balance.

If you do not want to wait until the application gets updated automatically, you can download Google Play Store 3.9.16 from here.
