Google has already decided to play nice and confirmed it would release the Android 4.1 Jelly Bean source code today.

Until then, those who own Ice Cream Sandwich device will be happy to be able to install some of the apps that are only included within Jelly Bean platform.

The folks over at XDA Developers made it possible to install the Google Play Music 4.3.605 from Jelly Bean on any device that runs Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich operating system

Even though there aren’t too many differences between the two versions, the Jelly Bean app features an enhanced widget and a new button layout over the background.

Keep in mind that you will need a rooted device with Ice Cream Sandwich onboard in order to install this application. For more details on how to download and install Google Play Music 4.3.605, head over to the original thread.
