A new flavor of the Google Play Music application has started to arrive on Android-based devices out there, namely version 5.2.

The deployment of the new release is a staged one, which means that it could take some time before it actually arrives on all supported devices out there.

For those who would like to grab the new app iteration before it is officially pushed to them, a download link is available below. The full app version is 5.2.1204L.814012.

Unfortunately, the application is not yet live in the Google Play Store, and an official changelog for it is not available.

However, the guys over at Android Police have managed to take a better look at the new software version and spotted some appealing enhancements packed inside it.

One of the first new features spotted in the application is Genre Radio, which was added to the already available artist/song radio.

The feature is available for all Android users who have All Access, and will be accessible through a new tab under the Radio section of the app.

The new Genre Radio will offer you the possibility to play sub-genres first. Thus, you will be able to choose to start listening either to the topmost genre, or to a sub-genre you’d like to.

The updated application also comes with a Download Queue interface, which enables you to easily download songs or pin music. It also sports a Pause / Resume button.

Another visible change in the new Google Play Music version is a new Send Feedback button, the guys over at Android Police also note.

We can’t tell for sure how long it will take for the new app release to become available for download for all users out there, but it might take a few days before that happens. In the meantime, you can grab the APK from the link below.
