Android users in Japan can now purchase Google Play Gift Cards in their country, Google has officially announced.

“For those in Japan, Google Play gift cards are now available. Find a store near you,” the Internet giant noted in a tweet.

This means that users can now offer Google Play store credit as gifts, so that their friends could grab more of the applications they like so much.

These cards are now available for purchase through various retailers in the country, the company also unveiled. They can be purchased in 1,500 Yen ($15/€10), 5,000 Yen ($49/€35), and 15,000 Yen ($146/€106) increments.
