Get unlimited free storage for your photos and video

During its Android M event launch, Google announced its new Photos service, which will provide users with unlimited pic and video storage for free.

In order to take advantage of the new features of Google's Photos service, you will need to download the application that has just been released in Google Play Store.

If you're an iOS users then you will be pleased to know that Google launched the new Photos application in App Store as well.

So, what can you do with Google Photos on your Android or iOS device. Well, first of all, you will be able to search through your photos by the people, places and things that appear in them. Keep in mind that you can search by these categories even if the photos don't have descriptions.

Since Google announced that there is no storage limit for uploading your photos into the cloud, you can now go ahead and choose to auto backup your photo and videos in the cloud.

In fact, you can choose free, unlimited cloud storage at high quality, or store up to 15GB original size for free (shared across your Google account).

It's also worth mentioning that you will be able to automatically create montage movies, interactive stories, collages, animations and many more stuff.

Obviously, you can edit your photos when you need with the tap of a finger. Last but not least, you can share multiple photos instantly with shareable links and use whichever apps that you want to share.

You can now download Google Photos for Android for free via Google Play store. The application should be fully compatible with all devices powered by Android 4.0 and up.

If you own an iOS device, you can download Google Photos for iOS via App Store. Keep in mind that the application is only supported by devices running iOS 8.1 and higher.
