The applications allows posting bloggs from Microsoft Word without any browser accessing, as long as the user owns a Blogger account.
After installing the application on MS Word the new toolbar shows three buttons: Publish, Open Post and Save As Draft. Those are supposed to allow users not only the instant insertion, but also the saving of the posts without Internet exposure and editing of the last 15.
Google trusts this application to be most useful as time-saver for those who generate revenue from administrating bloggs
It's a first for Google to launch an application for a MS Office range product, but they just did, so this could only the beginning of a series of future Google applications on Microsoft programs.
