I must mention from the beginning that this article refers to the products designed by Google that are currently available for both online and offline users. Google is an Internet giant and you must agree because it is one of the most powerful online companies with million of users every day. As you know, the company provides numerous products but the name Google is often affiliated to the most known search technology on the Internet. I admit that Google is first a search engine but, besides this ability,

it helps you obtain even more using its downloadable applications.

Let's talk a bit about Google Earth. It is a downloadable program that allows you to view maps and other imagery captured by the satellites directly from the desktop of your computer. Google Earth is currently very popular and you know it because even terrorists were using the program to organize attacks against the UK troops located in Basra. At this time, the search giant also offers Google Maps, a web-based solution that provides almost the same functions as Google Earth, but accessible through a simple online interface. So, which one do you prefer? There are reasons and reasons but your option should be based on your need. If you have a weak Internet connection, you should really choose Google Earth. If you want to access the maps from multiple locations, then Google Maps is the service you need.

Google Desktop is just another example because it is a downloadable application that allows users to find information on their computers quick and easy. The tool is regarded as a Google attempt to expand the power of the search technologies into the offline area and is currently installed by a huge number of users from every corner of the world.

So, what's more useful, the online or the offline Google? Well, you choose, but I really see Google one of the most powerful online companies in the world and I'm ready to bet that the search giant will continue to revolutionize our Internet experience many years from now on.
