Google is expanding the Google Offers program. After launching in Portland several weeks ago, it is now debuting in San Francisco and New York as well. At the same time, the company is also launching the Google Shopper 2.0 Android app with Offers integration.

"Following our first launch of Google Offers beta in Portland last month, we’re bringing great deals to the Big Apple and the Bay Area starting today," Google announced.

"Subscribers who sign up at www.google.com/offers or via the new 'Today’s Offer' tab in Google Shopper 2.0 for Android will start receiving emails with local offers in New York and the San Francisco Bay Area today," it added.

By now, the details of Google Offers should be pretty clear. It's a fairly standard daily deals type site, you can subscribe and then get notifications of the day's deal via email.

You can check out the deals at the Offers website as well. At launch, Google also said that the deals will start being made available throughout Google's products and services, where it made sense.

Today, Google is starting that integration with the Shopper 2.0 app for Android. The app will now feature the daily offers, if you live in a city where they're available.

You will also be able to check out past deals and your saved deals and coupons in the My Offers section. Essentially, it becomes the mobile component of Offers, though the app still retains its original functionality.

Google Shopper 2.0 also introduces the concept of nearby deals, location-based offers that will show up on your phone depending on where you are in the city.

"Also starting later today, you can buy, view and redeem a Google Offer of the day with Google Shopper 2.0 for Android," Google also announced.

"Shopper will also connect you to all kinds of deals that are near you in the Nearby Offers tab, so wherever you are, you can still get great offers from Google," it explained.
