Mountain View-based software giant Google appears set to provide owners of devices running under Android with a much better search experience than before, and the company has added a new feature to its Google Now (Google Search) app on the platform.

The new feature comes in the form of a brand-new card and will emerge on all devices running under the Android 4.1 and newer platform releases.

Through it, users will be provided with info on products that they have search for and which have landed in a store nearby, so that they could go and buy them, provided that they are still interested in doing so.

“Starting today, if you’re out and about and near a store that carries those boots, you might see a Google Now card showing you the product and price to remind you that you wanted them,” the company explains in a post on Google+.

With the new shopping card on their Android phones, users will be better informed on products they are interested in, and all they need to do next is head to the store and see if what they are looking for is in stock.

You can download Google Search for Android from Softpedia today. It is compatible with all devices running Android 2.2 and up, but Google Now cards will work only on Android 4.1 and up phones and tablets.
