One of the coolest new features, well an app really, of Android 4.1 Jelly Bean is Google Now, Google Search on steroids. The app is an answer to Siri in a way, but it's less flashy and more useful. The app just got updated, so the few Jelly Bean users out there are now getting more functionality out of it.

The latest Google Now update adds movie showtimes, to make it easier to find out when a movie is playing and maybe register tickets.

Also new are public alerts, warnings about natural disasters or anything of the sort, storm warnings or earthquake alerts for example, are now displayed in Google Now.

Sports fans will appreciate the ability to specify which sports team they follow, so they can get updates in real-time. Previously, Google Now would try to pin down your favorite team from your search history. Finally, the app is now available in Korean.
