A Google employee sustained

Google is regarded as the best search engine on the Internet because it can help users find any information, no matter if it is stored on a website located in different corners of the world. Although users love Google (the statistics sustain), it seems that the search giant's employees share different opinions about their technology. In a recent interview made by Nancy Stimson, Outreach Services Librarian, UCSD Biomedical Library, a Google employee was talking about several topics regarding the search engine. The most interesting statement sustained by the company's representative is that the Google Search Engine is not able to find everything on the Internet because the virtual world has many unknown secrets.

"Not everything can be found in Google. The "invisible web" often isn't searched, as well as, obviously, materials that aren't online. There are benefits in trying other search engines. Also, local, public and academic libraries have many valuable resources readily available, which people should explore," the Google employee said.

The company's official also sustained Google searchers are not using all the tools provided by the company, resuming to the use of the main search engine available on the official page of the technology. "People usually search Google by using the main search box or the Google toolbar, and often miss the advanced search page, command search capability, and other Google tools," the employee sustained. Although the Google Toolbar is often avoided by the users because they might consider it an annoying add-on for their browser, it seems like it is really popular among the Google searchers.
