The reference seems to be from a mock server, which is very old

Before getting your hopes too high, we suggest taking the following piece of news with a grain of salt given the source of the information.

It appears that a reference to the unannounced Nexus 6 has been spotted in a Chromium code review by Google+ user Carsten Knobloch. The reference is included in a string of coding coming from a mock server that is old enough to be considered a reliable source.

However, anything is possible and the fact that Google will eventually launch a sequel to one of its most popular Android smartphones, the Nexus 5, is almost certain.

Given that there are no other technical details regarding the unannounced, possibly upcoming Nexus 6, we can’t talk about anything on that matter.

Still, we should expect more info to pop up as we’re getting closer to fall, when Google usually launches its own branded Android smartphones.

According to the latest hearsay, the next Nexus smartphone coming later this year will be made by HTC, not LG, but this is just another speculation that has yet to be confirmed.

We will keep an eye out for any additional details on the upcoming Google Nexus 6 devices, so stay tuned for more updates on the matter.
