It’s expected that Google will soon announce a new Nexus 10

Yesterday we saw the first render of the next-gen Nexus 10 to leak online, which might be a good indicator that Google is preparing to pull the veil off a new device.

Well, now, those looking for the Nexus 10 on the official Google Play store will notice that its status has been changed to “out of inventory.” Google used the same strategy with the Nexus 4, and we all know that the Nexus 5 is on its way. Now it appears that the search giant might be unveiling a lot more in the near future.

Note that only the 16GB variant is out of inventory and not the 32GB version, which is still available, but not for very long, probably.

The new Nexus 10 is expected to be produced by Asus, as opposed to Samsung. It will maintain the resolution of 2560 x 1600 and will come sporting an Nvidia Tegra 4 or Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 processor.

It’s unclear at the moment which one we will end up seeing in the final product. The latest Android version 4.4 will be the default operating system on board.
