In case you're one of the iGoogle fans out there, I'm sure you strive to set up your Personalized Homepage in order to get more information in no time. That's why I recommend you to
install the recently released Google News gadgets which is supposed to bring you the articles you want straight on iGoogle. "The iGoogle News gadget shows your favorite Google News in a small-screen format, complete with news headlines, snippets, and thumbnails, grouped by news clusters. If you're really into a particular story, there are links to see the full text and related news in a cluster, or more stories in the same category," Kevin Liu, Jin-Ho Kim, Jaeho Kang, Software Engineers, introduce the new gadget on the Google News Blog.
But what I found to be the most attractive element of the new iGoogle gadget is the tab support which enables you to read the stories in multiple domains from the same window. As you can see in the picture attached to the article, you can easily click on the 'Entertainment' tab to read the latest news about Britney Spears or on the 'Sports' one to find info about David Beckham.
"The iGoogle News gadget uses tabs to display different news sections separately in its own tabs, and you can customize the news sections you want to see. You can also create custom sections by entering query terms in the "edit settings tab" (the "+" tab). The gadget allows you to reorder tabs by dragging and dropping, just as you can do with gadgets on your iGoogle page," the Google officials added.
If you want to add the Google News gadget to your iGoogle Personalized Homepage, all you need to do is click on this
link and then press the 'Add to Google' button to bring the utility on your website.
