Not allowed headline published on Google News

Google News, the news service provided by the Mountain View company recently showed some weird headlines that made us think it's not the product that deserves to be so popular. The folks from numerous publications on the Internet, including TechCrunch, reported that the main page of Google News showed a headline published by a website called "AXcess News" reading "Bush b*tt probed, Cheney in charge." And this while other famous news agencies such as Reuters and FOX News were relegated on the seconds and on the third position with the same story.

"A shudder could be felt across Capitol Hill Friday after news came out that President Bush would be having his b*tt checked out which meant that while Bush was going through the colonoscopy, Vice President Dick Cheney would be in charge of the nation," the short description of the article reads.

According to TechCrunch, AXcess News is a member of the Online News Association that is famous for its news products from the entire world.

It was proved once again that Google News urgently needs some filters that would be able to block infringing content and the headlines that are doing nothing more than damaging the parent company's image. Some time ago, I found numerous vulgar words published on the main page of Google News that were not filtered at all and were uploaded just like any other headline.

However, Google News caused even greater problems for the Mountain View company when Google got sued by several Belgian newspapers. At that time, the publications accused the search giant of copyright infringement after their headlines were published on the main page of Google News without authorization. A Belgian judge said the search giant must remove all the news provided by the newspapers and avoid future indexing of their website.
