14 DAY TRIAL // On Monday, Google made official its new Android 4.2 operating system flavor, and also announced updates for a series of apps and features for existing devices.
Google Maps for Android was one of the applications updated in the process, now providing users with an improved format for search suggestions, Google notes.
The application arrives on devices with all the features and capabilities that users were already accustomed with when running it on their devices.
It offers detailed maps with 3D buildings, voice guided turn-by-turn GPS navigation, live traffic information, Google Maps Street View, indoor maps for select airports, hotels, retail stores, and more in select locations, as well as driving, public transit, biking, and walking directions.
Google Maps for Android also offers Navigation capabilities (currently in Beta). The application is available for download from Softpedia via this link.
