Google Maps Unloads High Resolution Satellite Imagery for over 120 Countries

Google just unloaded a huge batch of updated imagery for Google Maps and Earth. There is now updated high resolution satellite imagery for, well, much of the world and there are also new aerial images for several places in the US and a couple in Europe, including Paris.

"The Google Earth and Maps Imagery Team has done it again, delivering another collection of updated aerial and satellite imagery from around the globe, just in time for the holidays," Google announced.

Google regularly updates the imagery in its map services, but does it at designated times for several places.

Very recently, it provided updated or new aerial imagery for over 20 cities around the world. Now, it's expanding on that with 16 more cities.

Even more impressive is the satellite imagery update which overs many of the world's countries, over 120 of them. You can get a full list Google's blog post.
