The Mountain View-based company wants to conquer the entire Internet because it considers the virtual world is still open for other companies. A Google employee recently sustained for Vnunet that Google is not the king over the entire Internet world and a considerable part of the network can be also used by other firms. At this time, Google is regarded as the most powerful online company because most of its solution are currently the leaders in their categories. For example, its mail solution, codenamed Gmail, is currently described as the most efficient antispam solution, being able to block most of the unwanted messages sent to our inboxes.

Google is a powerful online company and all of you agree on it because everyone is using the search technology at least once a day. But, Google is also the owner of several offline tools that are meant to bring the power of the company to the offline users. Take the example of Google Desktop, the search application that indexes all the files stored on your computer and returns results in no-time. The Mac release brought Google in some interesting discussions because many users sustained they will never user the search giant's application as the Mac OS X already contains Spotlight, a similar product designed by Apple.

In the recent period, Google wanted even more from the offline media and tried to expand its advertising platform into newspapers, TVs and at several radio stations. The tests were started, the publishers were selected and the search giant confirmed its plans. However, there were only some Google plans as the company prepares only the audio ads, currently in beta.

However, Google was, is and will be an online company, a statement sustained especially by the newly released Office suite, a pack of services able to compete with the old-fashioned Microsoft Office.
