When it comes to Chromebooks, Indian customers have seen their choices diversified. As of today, on top of the Acer C720 offering, Google has also rolled out the HP Chromebook 14 in India.

The HP baby packs a 14-inch screen just like the name suggests, with a resolution of 1366 x 768 pixels. Inside we have an Intel Celeron 847 processor with 2GB of RAM and Intel HD graphics, which should offer a pretty good performance.

The HP model is expected to bring about a longer battery life of 9.5 hours, compared to its Acer counterpart and its 8.5 hours life juice.

The company has also added Bluetooth, built-in dual band Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n, two USB 3.0 ports plus one USB 2.0 and HDMI out.

Google doesn't break pattern with this model and offers the same 100 GB of Google Drive Cloud Storage available for the first two years.

The HP Chromebook 14 will pop up on retail shelves starting October 17 in select Reliance Digital and Croma stores across Delhi and Mumbai. Those who can’t wait can place a pre-order on Flipkart. Price has been set at Rs. 26,990 / $435 / €322.
