The games are meant to help developers see that the sky's the limit with Glass

The team behind Google Glass released a really cool video game compilation dubbed “Mini-Games.”

The collection was put together by the Glass team and includes mini games that should, at least in theory, help developers get their imagination going about what they can do with the device.

The bundle includes 5 games designed to keep Glass users amused wherever they are. The graphics aren’t all that complicated, there’s a musical soundtrack and the gameplay is rather basic, but they’re still fun to handle.

It’s possible to launch any of them by uttering the famous “OK Glass” followed by the request to play a particular title.

The five games are called “Tennis,” “Shape Splitter”, “Balance,” “Clay Shooter” and “Matcher.” The names are fairly intuitive and it doesn’t take much to figure out what each of them does.

For instance, in “Tennis,” your face is a racket and you have to point your head in the direction the ball is moving to volley it back to the opponent. For everyone’s safety, this isn’t a game that should be played while walking on the street.

“Shape Splitter” is quite similar to “Fruit Ninja” as players need to use their hands in front of them to cut blocks and avoid bombs.

For “Balance,” the player needs to tilt his or her head to keep the books from falling over in the game. You’ll probably look like a confused pug while playing it, but it does sound rather fun.

“Clay Shooter” uses voice commands. Players need to use words such as “Pull” to launch a clay figurine, while aiming can be done with a tilt of the head. Saying “Bang” will shoot at the target.

“Matcher” sounds a bit more complicated, mainly because of all the head movements. While it’s a rather basic “match two “ game, players move their heads around a 3D prism and select cards by tapping the touchpad.
