Google Keep for Android Now Available for Download

Google has just released its own note-taking application for Android devices. Dubbed Google Keep, it allows users to create notes, lists and audio notes, or even add photos to these notes.

The application can also automatically transcribe any voice note previously created by users. More importantly, all notes are stored safely in the cloud and can be accessed from the Internet via Google Drive.

Other highlights of Google Keep include the following features:

- Hide and show checkboxes to turn notes into checkable lists;
- View and create notes from homescreen and lockscreen widgets (only for Android 4.2+ devices);
- Selectable color for notes.

Google Keep 1.0.77 is now available as a free download via Google Play Store and it should be fully compatible with all devices running Android 4.0.3 and up. Check it out here.
