One of the latest services Google has released for the users of an Android-based mobile phone is Google Buzz for mobile, a solution announced officially in early February, and which has just been enhanced through the release of a Google Buzz widget for Android. According to the development team, the new release is the result of an effort to make it even easier for mobile phone users to share thoughts and experiences while on the go.

“Today, we're excited to release a Google Buzz widget for Android phones that lets you post text and photos with a single tap. Like other mobile access points for Google Buzz, the widget lets you choose to tag your post with the location or place from which it was posted. You can post buzz about a great meal you had and share photos of the new restaurant. To save time, your posts will upload in the background, letting you get back to your scrumptious dessert without a wait,” a recent post on the Google Mobile Blog notes.

According to the developers, the new widget is being delivered in English for all handsets powered by the Android 1.6 or higher operating system. Those interested in trying it out should head over to the Android Market, where they should search for 'Google Buzz' and download the solution on their mobile phones. As soon as the software is installed, one can easily add it to the homescreen through hitting Menu and selecting “Add > Widgets > Google Buzz.” At the same time, the blog post notes that support for other languages is expected to soon be included in the package.

Those who are not yet familiar with what Google Buzz is all about should learn that it offers users the possibility to easily share web links, photos, videos and other content. Moreover, the solution has been also designed so as to take advantage of a series of phone specific features, including its GPS capabilities and more.
