The Google I/O developers' conference is the biggest Google event all year. It hasn't disappointed until now as the company always had exciting new products showcased or revealed at the conference. Not to mention all of the things actually aimed at developers.

Those that got in this year are already making plans for 2012 and those that haven't probably want to.

For anyone interested, Google has set the date for next year's Google I/O conference, it will be held at the same place it always has on April 24 and 25.

Google isn't opening up registrations or anything like that just yet, it just announced the date of the event to make sure people know about it well in advance. Other details will be coming later.

"This year’s Google I/O saw 1 million developers join us from around the world at Moscone Center, via I/O Live, and at our I/O Extended viewing parties," Monica Tran, from Google's Developer Marketing Team, wrote.

"As we prepare to round the corner into 2012, mark your calendars: Google I/O 2012 will be returning to Moscone Center West in San Francisco on April 24-25," she announced.

Tickets for the 2011 Google I/O conference sold out in less than an hour, so, if you want in be sure to move fast whenever Google will be opening up registrations for next year's event.

"Registration details will be coming soon, but for a preview of what’s to come, check out videos from last year’s event, as well as photos from our Google Developer Day events, currently taking place in eight cities around the world," Monica wrote.

You can check out videos of this year's sessions here. As for what to expect from the 2012 Google I/O, it's too early to tell, Google probably doesn't know either. However, you can be sure that Android, Google Chrome and, of course, Google+ will be big parts of it.
