According to an announcement made via Google+, the company always sees a spike in searches related to weddings in January, in the wake of the winter “engagement season.”
“If you’re one of the happy couples hearing wedding bells, check out some tips from us on how to organize, plan and celebrate your big day,” the announcement reads.
The site includes several sections, which you can either click through from the menu on the bottom of the page or scroll with the help of the mouse.
When it comes to making the announcement of the engagement, Google recommends that you download the new Hangouts app, which enables users to connect up to 10 people across various devices.
Google Maps could come in handy when you’re trying to find a venue, while Google Docs and Sheets will be perfect for putting together the details of the event.
The company went as far as to create a special template that lets you figure out a bunch of stuff. The file has multiple tabs, where you can create the guest lists, estimate the budget, make a to-do list and one with venue options, pick a caterer, photographer and videographer as well as a cake.
Other tabs bear various labels such as “Dresses, “Makeup/ Hair”, “Invitations/ Stationery,” “Music” and “seating chart,” to name just a few. Basically, it gives you everything you need to make sure the big day is perfect, down to the wedding day schedule.
The company is even letting users put together a website. There are a dozen templates ready to use to get you started and from there on out, it’s fairly easy to set, by creating pages and adding pictures to suit your personal style.
