Google Health is a very useful tool for tracking your overall health and storing all related information in once place, accessible everywhere. But Google has now rolled out a complete overhaul which, among other new features, enables you to track your "wellness" as well as your sickness.

"We’ve heard you ask for easier data tracking, more personalization and the ability to set and track progress toward your health goals," Aaron Brown, Senior Product Manager for Google Health wrote.

"We’ve listened, and today we’re announcing a new design and new features for Google Health."

"We’ve developed an easier-to-use dashboard that brings together even more of your health and wellness information in one place and makes it easier for you to organize and act on that information.

"We’ve also heard from you that focusing on wellness, and wellness goals, is a big part of the solution, and that it’s important to record your daily experience and set goals," he added.

The new Google Health enables you to set health goals and monitor your progress towards them. If you want to lose weight or lower your cholesterol, you can easily do so and then see a visual representation of your progress.

Google has also added integration for tools that enable users to monitor their wellness. Fitbit for example makes a device which keeps track of various wellness data such as how much you exercise and how well you sleep. And all that data can now be easily transferred to Google Health.

There is also support for the CardioTrainer mobile app which is again used to monitor various aspects of your workout and weight loss.

The new interface features a dashboard which includes all of your health and wellness data in one place. You can also keep a journal of your progress and create custom trackers for the things that you're interested in.
