Google's advertising platforms are well known in the entire world because they are continuously attracting new users to register for the products. Google AdSense and AdWords are two of the most popular services on the Internet, allowing you to earn money by placing adverts on your website or advertise your company using the search engine result page. The number of the users registered for the two products is quite impressive but new clients are looking to create accounts every day. Because Google now owns the most powerful Internet advertising platform, the company is aiming to expand its solution by moving into the offline area.

The company started numerous beta stages to test new offline advertising solutions, multiple users confirming they were selected for the program. Some time ago, Google released newspapers ads meant to include ads into multiple US newspapers from the AdWords publishers registered for the service. Then, the company started another test by sending audio ads to several US radio stations. Recently, the search giant announced its plans to place adverts into multiple shops from all around the world, as well as to expand its advertising platform into several computer games.

Because the company aims to include in-game advertising, Google acquired Adscape for $23 million, a firm that is based only on video game advertising. Although the rumors were issued some time ago, the search giant denied them; however, they were confirmed today by TechCrunch.

"After some rumors of a deal earlier this month, Google has expanded it's advertising reach by moving into video game advertising with their $23 million acquisition of Adscape. Adscape is a video game advertising company whose AdverPlay product lets developers place dynamic ads right inside the game and Real Virtual Gateway product enables two-way text, audio and video communication via SMS Text or eMail," TechCrunch reported.
