Google is one of the most powerful companies on the Internet with millions of users every day. Because it owns an impressive number of products, Google became the leader in numerous categories including online video sharing services, email solutions or the search technologies. As you know, the Internet is attracting a huge number of users, Google owning a big part of them. Now, there is only one problem: most of the users are really addicted to Google and might overvalue some of the company's latest releases and attract even more clients to the search giant.

Sometimes, we are asking ourselves if Google is our friend or foe because some of the bugs discovered in the company's products disappointed the users and made them to look for an alternative. Take the example of Gmail, the mail solution provided by the search giant that is currently available for free to all users. The product was released on April 1, 2004 and was available only by invitation until February 2007. I guess all of you agree that Gmail is the most efficient e-mail solution against spam messages but sometimes, we're all disappointed by the product's vulnerabilities. Some time ago, a critical bug was discovered, allowing the attackers to view the subject and even the content of several emails.

YouTube, the online video sharing service provided by Google, was acquired by the search giant in October 2006 for $1.6 billion. Since the acquisition, the company encountered a lot of headaches after numerous persons or firms sued Google for copyright infringement. Take the example of Daniela Cicarelli, Ronaldo's ex-wife, who sued Google for publishing videos without authorization. A Brazilian court closed YouTube Brazil until the search giant manages to remove all the clips with the model.

Of course, the most known lawsuit is the one filed by Viacom, the owner of MTV and Comedy Central that required $1 billion in damages. Although the search giant agreed to remove all the Viacom clips, the MTV producer sued Google for copyright infringement.

So, it's obvious that Google wanted to revolutionize our lives but sometimes, it causes more problems than good things. Now, I'm asking you: how do you see Google in the future? Will it be able to continue the online revolution?
