At the Developer Day

As a reminder for the upcoming Google Developer Day, scheduled for May 31, the search giant's employees are continuously bringing the event in the spotlight to attract users and inform interested people about the conference. Although the Mountain View-based firm built a separate page for the event, it seems like the company wants to keep the developers up-to-date using all the available tools. Brandon Badger, Maps API Team, published a blog post today to encourage Maps API developers to register for the conference and come to meet the company's engineers.

"As a reminder, we'd love to see lots of Maps API developers at the Google Developer Day on May 31, so be sure to sign up soon. This is a great opportunity to mingle with other developers, meet the Google Maps engineers, request features, throw food at us, etc. Last year's event was a lot of fun," the search giant's employee sustained on the official blog of the company.

The blog post also contains a link to a Google Maps Mania post that describes last year's meeting when some of the developers were invited to the first Google Geo Developer Day. The conference was quite interesting for the entire audience because the developers had the chance to meet the Google Maps team as well as to talk about the products and the upcoming projects prepared by the Mountain View-based company.

As I said when the company announced the conference, the upcoming event is somehow similar with the Apple WWDC (Worldwide Developers Conference), a meeting that is often used by the company to showcase the latest projects designed by the firm. Now, there is only one question: what should we expect from the Google Developer Day? Let's hope a new project that will help us with our Internet activities...
