AdSense now available in Catalan

Google's advertising platform, AdSense, is now available in Catalan in a move able to expand the company's product to more users. If you didn't know, Catalan is a language spoken in some parts of Spain, France and Italy. However, it seems that the advertising product's page is not yet updated and doesn't display Catalan among the supported languages.

with the title above.) We're pleased to let you know that publishers can now display targeted AdSense for content ads on pages in Catalan. Visit the 'AdSense Setup' tab in your account to generate ad code, then paste it onto your pages and let our system take care of the rest. Although AdSense for search currently isn't available in Catalan, stay tuned for future updates on the blog," Arlene Lee, AdSense Publisher Support, said today.

According to the blog post, the Catalan advertising platform contains only AdSense for content, but the Search edition will be also implemented soon. In the recent period, AdSense received a lot of hot updates and improvements that were meant to expand the advertising platform for numerous users. However, the search giant wants even more and tries to get AdSense and AdWords into the offline media by signing several deals with newspapers, radio stations and even billboard owners. For example, the company started several tests a long time ago, aiming to place adverts straight on the newspapers' pages. Then, it created audio ads and played them on the radio. Now, Google wants to create a new type of advert and display it on billboards and in several US shops.

Meanwhile, the search giant acquired AdScape, an advertising company that is able to help the Mountain View firm include their adverts into several games.
