Halloween isn’t that far away and Google knows it better than anyone since it has to filter out all the searches for costumes that take place around this time of year.

The company has unveiled the top trending searches for Halloween costumes on Google and one thing’s clear – Frozen rules by a landslide.

The Frozen madness has been making the rounds for months now, going from people covering the “Let It Go” track in countless YouTube videos, fashion designers creating wedding dresses inspired by Elsa’s gown and so on.

Well, as a matter of fact, Elsa’s costume is the most searched for costume this year, so you shouldn’t be surprised if you see about a dozen of them at the Halloween party you’re planning to attend. Most surprising, however, is the fact that Olaf is the second most searched for costume and we’re talking about the happy snowman in the animation movie, complete with the red carrot for a nose and twigs for arms.

Another character from a Disney flick has taken over the third spot too. It’s Maleficent this time around, the famous character that was played by Angelina Jolie earlier this year.

The launch of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles earlier this year has inspired some people to go back to look for a costume of the famous characters because the search for this ranks fourth.

Frozen takes up three spots

Frozen is back in the chart again, at number five, as people want to be Anna for this Halloween, the young and fun sister of Elsa who’s known for her efforts to get her Elsa to build a snowman.

Up at number six is Black Widow from The Avengers, a character played by Scarlett Johansson. Of course, getting a skintight catsuit and a red wig should do the trick for this one. (Well, unless this is a child we’re talking about). From the same movie comes the occupant of the seventh spot, Captain America.

The hero with the awesome shield managed to attract quite a few searches, and so did the most adorable character in a movie this year – Groot, from Guardians of the Galaxy, who comes up next.

The viral clip of the spider dog that made the rounds on the internet just a few weeks ago has inspired people to look for some costumes for their pets too, because the ninth most searched for item is “dog spider.”

Lastly, on the tenth spot is the already-classic, but always cool, Assassin’s Creed costume.
