14 DAY TRIAL // Google has finally added its popular Street View option to the Earth app for iPhone and iPad. Other additions in version 7.1.1 include improved directions and search, UI tweaks, and more.
With Google Earth version 7.1.1, “you can explore the world at street level.” The search giant’s app that lets you fly around the planet with a swipe of your finger finally gains Street View.
The new version further includes updated directions to visualize transit, walk, bike, and drive directions in 3D, and the search module has been updated with a result list for a bird’s eye view of its findings.
The interface has been tweaked slightly to make it easier to browse and enable different layers thanks to the addition of a new panel on the left side of the screen.
