Two days ago, Google launched Google Earth 4.3, one of the most expected editions of the downloadable mapping tool, mostly because it includes multiple
important updates such as Street View. As I'm sure you know, Street View was previously integrated into Google Maps, the web-based version of Google Earth which lets users view maps and photos straight from their browser. However, lots of people consider that Street View in Google Earth is a great additional, especially because it's now possible to view street-level panoramas right from the desktop.

However, Street View isn't necessarily a good thing because it hasn't always attracted positive feedback and good remarks. Just think at the avalanche of complaints which assaulted the Mountain View-based company just after Street View hit the market as lots of users appearing in the photos requested the removal of the pictures.

Sure, Google has always been opened to talks but some people criticized and even sued the search company for showing too much information on a free web service. For instance, a couple said a few weeks ago that they have sued Google for infringing their privacy because Street View shows photos with their private property.

So, Street View has arrived in Google Earth. As you can see in the photos published below, the technology shows the majority of elements which made users accuse the company for infringing the privacy, including here vehicle registration plates, people's faces and the outside view of their houses. As always, Google will probably defend itself by saying that Street View shows nothing more than the details accessible from the street which is pretty true but nobody ever asked those people if they want to appear on such a popular web service. Meanwhile, you can also turn to the "Report Inappropriate Photo" button placed in Street View.
