Google has just released a new version of Drive for Android devices on Play Store. With the latest iteration of Google Drive, users will be able to edit Google spreadsheets in a new, native editor, among other things.
Aside from that, Google Drive users will be able to edit contents of tables in Google Docs editor. In addition, formatting is maintained when copy/pasting within Google Docs and a single tap is now enough to enter edit mode in Google Docs editor.
Last but not least, Google also added a shortcut to Drive files/folders to homescreen for quick access and support for copying link to clipboard in “Send Link” option.
Google Drive 1.1.470.11 is now available as a free download via Google Play store and it should be fully compatible with all devices running Android 2.1 and up. Check it out here.
