In addition to releasing its Email app in the Google Play Store and updating the Chrome Beta browser, Google has released new versions of other Android applications as well, including Drive, Hangouts and Translate.

The new flavor of Google Drive is available for download as version 1.3.222.29 now, with multi-colored refresh animations packed inside, as well as with the multi-user switcher now expanding in-line instead of opening a drop-down menu.

Moreover, the updated application includes doc creation shortcuts at the bottom of the screen in floating bar, and it displays a link to Program Policies in Settings.

The updated version of Hangouts arrives on devices with a variety of bug fixes and small improvements and should be available for download as version 2.1.311. No visible changes have been included in the app, it seems.

As for Google Translate for Android, the application is up to version 3.0.8 now, with a brand-new app icon, as well as with a swap translation direction button, as a recent post on the XDA-Developers blog reads.

All of these updated app iterations should already appear as available for download for users around the world. However, they might need some more time to emerge on all markets.
