Google has announced that its Drive desktop app now lets you share items straight from the right-click menu.

Thanks to the new update Google is rolling out now, it’s possible to share files straight from the context menu of the app.

Thus, all you must do is right-click on any file, go to Google Drive and click the Share feature.

This new function is said to be rolled out over the next few days, which means it will most likely reach you quite soon if it hasn’t already.

The sharing feature allows you to make a file accessible only for specific people. It’s also possible to change the visibility options and offer access to certain people or to everyone who has a link to it.

While Google Drive is only now getting this feature, Dropbox has already had it for years.
