The latest revision for Google’s file synchronization client has been improved in terms of usability as the developer replaced the sync status icons.

As a result of this modification, users should be able to notice more clearly the current status for each of the synchronized files.

Google Drive 1.10 also brings to the table a few fixes and improvements. Users are expected to experience a much lower number of crashes and freezes of the client when uploading files as the development team addressed some stability issues.

The optimizations integrated in this release refer to the impact on system resources. As such, both CPU and RAM levels should now be lower.

Memory usage has been improved when moving or deleting items from the local Drive folder. Furthermore, the client has been optimized to upload large number of files added to the sync folder at a faster rate and with a smaller impact on the CPU.
