One of Google's many products is Google Docs, which is basically a web version support to users wanting to edit and create office documents. The product, which was released in September 2007, provides basic functions for a word processor, spreadsheet and presentation. Since its release, it has received a number of important upgrades, designed to enhance users' experience. Recently, Google Docs has also received a couple of new features.

Users wanting to use Google's product can do so by using their own Gmail id and password. Once logged in, they will be able to edit and create documents using Google's product. And from now on, they can even view the created documents by using the new fixed-width page layout or the standard full-width view. This new feature has been expected for quite some time now, mainly because it was spotted back in March in one of Google's presentations.

The new feature is similar to what you can find in Microsoft Office under the name of "Print Layout". But, unlike on Microsoft's Office, Google's View menu won't display for you several pages in a single window. You'll just have to do with a very long page. Besides the new View feature, Google also received a few new options.

For instance, you are now able to enter the Help menu directly from the document toolbar. There, you will find help related to keyboard shortcuts and other important Google Docs features. Google also added an option that lets you chose the size of your embedded presentations. You will be able to choose from three options - Small, Medium and Large.

With the newly improved Google Docs, you will be able to select multiple objects at a time, thus offering you a better Office experience. Google Docs will most certainly continue to grow in user numbers, which is yet another guarantee that Google is continuously improving the quality of its products.
