Google decided to push another update for its Docs application for Android devices. The new version features a clean and fresh interface, which makes it easier to work with documents.
A new “pinch to zoom” gesture has been added in order for users to focus on a specific paragraph or a whole page. The developers also include several productivity tools, which turn the application into a complete office solution.
Google Docs users will be able to bold something important to stand out from the text, or simply add a certain color and quick bullet list. This is possible thanks to the new rich text formatting support. Users will also be able to see edits from others almost in real-time.
Google Docs version 1.0.54 is now available as a free download in the Android Market and it should be fully compatible with all devices running Android 2.1 and up.
