Google has just released a new flavor of the Google Docs application for devices running under its Android operating system. Most of the enhancements packed with the new app release were meant for offline use.

The new application release arrives with better management of offline content, including the possibility to see what’s out of date, as well as with the ability to have all files viewable when offline. Google Docs also comes with automatic syncing of offline content while on WiFi, as well as with the possibility to star and rename files while offline.

Owners of Android-based tablet PCs will also benefit from a better reading experience when accessing Google documents.

Google Docs for Android is available for download via the Android Market and can be enjoyed on all devices that run under Android 2.1 or newer OS flavors.
