Google Chrome Stable Advances into 25.x Branch with Multiple Improvements

Google Chrome, a browser built on the WebKit layout engine that aims to be minimalistic and versatile at the same time, is now at version 25.0.1364.97.

A new stable version of the Google Chrome browser has been made available and, as usual, it comes with quite a few fixes.

Highlights of Google Chrome 25.0.1364.97:

• Improvements in managing and securing your extensions have been implemented;
• Better support for HTML5 time/date inputs;
• JavaScript Web Speech API support has been added;
• Better WebGL error handling;
• A memory corruption with web audio node has been fixed;
• Bad memory access with excessive SVG parameters has been corrected;
• An integer overflow in Opus handling has been fixed.
