Fixes HTTPS request bug, but secondary effects may pop up

Google Chrome 20 should be on the brink of being released but until we see it, the development team updated the stable channel of the web browser. The new revision is available only on Windows and deals with a single issue, SSL-related.

Update 18.0.1025.152 of the web browser attends to a problem that would cause Chrome to display an error message when requesting a web page using HTTP with SSL (HTTPS). The error would claim that the website’s certificate is invalid.

As you can see from the image in the gallery below, even accessing Google through HTTPS would trigger the error message.

However, fixing this bug may have secondary effects, such as the regression of a problem that caused black screen on Hybrid Graphics system with GPU accelerated compositing enabled.
