Google Chrome is continuing to grow and remained the top browser in the world for the entire month of June, at least according to StatCounter numbers. The analytics company shows Chrome with a 32.76 percent worldwide share, just slightly above Internet Explorer which ended June with 32.31 percent. Chrome is up from 32.43 percent in May, the
first month it overtook IE, but Microsoft's browser is also on the rise going from 32.12 percent in May.
On the other hand, Firefox seems to be the big loser in June, after the month of May in which it gained almost one percentage point. Mozilla's browser had 25.55 percent market share in May but dropped to 24.56 percent in June, quite a significant loss.
Google has said that it has some 310 million Chrome users worldwide and that its own internal metrics show that it's the number one browser worldwide, but it will be interesting to see what IE and Firefox will do in the future months and whether Chrome slows down.
