After releasing a patched Chrome stable that addressed the exploit used by Pinkie Pie to win (rewarded with $60,000) the Pwnium 2 competition, Google has also rolled out a new beta.

The new build is 23.0.1271.26 and it is available for all supported platforms (Windows, Mac, Linux, and Chrome Frame).

There isn’t much information available about the fixes integrated in the fresh revision, but the focus was to address a known top crash. The revision log is not offering additional details about the modifications, either.

The previous beta update for Google Chrome delivered fixes that eliminated a bunch of stability problems, and a set of bugs relating to Windows 8 (metro switch button should be able to make the swap between windows of the same profile correctly).
