Shortly after announcing the rollout of Chrome 31 stable for Android devices, Google confirmed that a beta version was available for download in the appropriate channel.

The new beta version seems to address a number of browser crashes experienced by some users, but also removes the ability to add an application shortcut.

According to Google, this feature will be implemented in a future beta, so if you can live without it, avoid applying this update. No other major improvements have been included, but those who wish to find out more details on this update's changes should check out the SVN revision log.

You can now download Chrome Beta for Android 31.0.1650.60 for free via Softpedia. Keep in mind that the application should be fully compatible with all devices running Android 4.0 and up.
