Google updated the beta channel for Google Chrome. The new build number for this development branch is 23.0.1271.17 and it is available for all supported platforms (Windows, Mac, Linux, and ChromeFrame).

This revision fixes bugs affecting the stability of the application. One problem that appeared on all platforms refers to Web Intents edit app tab refusing to close.

On Windows, one of the fixes referred to a problem few users might have noticed, especially in the Dev build of the browser; the “Manage search engines” button in the Settings panel was off by one pixel, but order has been restored.

The development team also dealt with a Mac-specific problem: "Look Up in Dictionary" and "Start Speaking" not working for PDFs.

Plenty of the bug fixing in this release related to ChromeFrame platform.
