The Beta branch of Google Chrome, a browser built on the Blink layout engine that aims to be minimalistic and versatile at the same time, is now at version 37.0.2062.68.

The Google Chrome developers have been working around the Beta branch, but now a new release has been made and it packs a few changes and improvements.

According to the developers, the screen metrics emulator is now disabled before closing the render widget, XTBs based on .GRDs has been updated, more detailed result codes for CreateViewCommandBuffer have been added, the Views Tab Layout option has been fixed, a few more app IDs have been whitelisted for the background permission, and DrawGL kModeSync is now being used.

The Google Chrome developers only provide two kinds of binary files, deb and rpm, and no source. If you are not using a Linux distribution capable of reading this type of files, you will have to wait until it hits your repositories.

Usually, a complete list of changes can be found on the official website.
