The fixes are for 5 high-risk vulnerabilities identified by Krystian Bigaj, Alex Chapman and cloudfuzzer.
The security holes refer to incomplete path sanitization in file handling, an integer overflow in ANGLE, a use-after-free in XSLT, a use-after-free in document parsing, and a use-after-free in media element.
Christian Jaeger has been credited for identifying a low-impact information leak via overly broad permissions on shared memory files.
In addition, Google’s internal security work has discovered a wide range of issues based on internal audits, fuzzing and other initiatives.
For their findings, researchers have been rewarded with a total of $6,174 (€4,600).
