Mountain View-based search company Google has once again updated its Chrome browser, this time trying to improve the beta build with some performance and stability enhancements.

Google Chrome 28.0.1500.70 Beta is only available on Windows and Mac OS X devices and even if no specifics have been provided, it’s most likely supposed to address bugs found in the previous versions.

In case you’re running the beta version already, you’re highly recommended to download and install the new release as soon as possible. Otherwise, just stick to the stable build, as it’s the one to use if you don’t want to waste too much time trying to determine the cause of specific errors.

On Windows, the new beta version works on basically every single edition of the operating system, so you can install it on XP, Vista, 7, and 8, be they 32- or 64-bit builds.
